Jaipur, Jun 8 (DNA): The RBSE declared the results of class 12 (arts) on Tuesday. The second position was shared jointly by Asha Yadav of Shahpura (Jaipur) and Jyoti Parihar of Jodhpur. Prem Bai Prajapat from Alwar secured third slot in the merit list of top 10 candidates. The overall pass result is 89.79 per cent.

As many as 4,77,261 students (including private candidates) had taken the test, of which 4,28,531 cleared the examination. The RBSE officials said 2,43,092 boys and 1,85,439 girls passed the class 12 exams. In the merit list declared by the RBSE, as many as 15 students, including 12 girls, have shared the top 10 positions across the state.

Shankar Lal topped the merit list by scoring 94.46 per cent marks with overall score of 614 out of total 650 marks, said RBSE officials. The second position in the merit list was secured jointly by Asha Yadav of Shahpura of Jaipur and Jyoti Parihar of Jodhpur who scored 92 per cent marks while Prem Bai Prajapat from Alwar stood third by scoring 91.85 per cent marks.
