Mangaluru, Apr 16: "The Election Commission should ban SDPI, which is closely associated with the banned terrorist organization PFI," said BJP state spokesperson, Captain Ganesh Karnik.
He made this statement at a press meet on Saturday, April 16.
Captain Karnik accused the Congress party of using the state as a laboratory for its selfish politics. He alleged that 23 Hindu activists were killed during Siddaramaiah's tenure, and that the Congress government had released 1700 PFI workers.
He further claimed that the Congress party had supported the pre-planned violence by PFI and SDPI opposing the CAA Act. Captain Karnik criticized the Congress party for remaining silent when a Dalit MLA's residence was attacked during the DG and KG Halli violence. He alleged that PFI's mission is to Islamize India by 2047 and that the Congress party is supporting this mission.
In response to media questions, Captain Karnik clarified that the BJP has no connection with SDPI and is demanding its ban. He stated that the Election Commission is aware of the situation and may ban SDPI in the future. Captain Karnik also mentioned that the BJP will come to power based on the development works done by the current BJP government.
