Udupi: 'Teen-Miss-Mrs Coastal 2024' champions crowned at inaugural beauty pageant

Udupi, June 16: TSR Modelling Management Udupi successfully concluded the inaugural edition of "Teen-Miss-Mrs Coastal 2024," a pioneering beauty pageant held at Essentia Manipal Inn. Sponsored by Jayalaxmi Silks and Abharan Jewellers, Udupi, the event witnessed a dazzling display of talent and glamour.

"Saanvi emerged as the standout winner in the Teen category of Coastal 2024, with Disha and Rakshita claiming the 1st and 2nd runner-up positions respectively," announced the organizers.

In the Miss Coastal 2024 category, Sushmitha Acharya clinched the title, with Sai Shruthi and Linda Louis securing the 1st and 2nd runner-up positions. Meanwhile, in the Mrs Coastal 2024 segment, Chaitra was crowned the winner, followed by Anola K J and Priyanka Latheesh as 1st and 2nd runners-up.

Reflecting on the event, Saanvi expressed her excitement: "Winning this title means the world to me. It's a dream come true."

Teen Coastal 2024:

Miss Coastal 2024:

The panel of judges, featuring Yashasvini Devadiga, Suraj Sanil, and Nishitha Suvarna, brought their expertise to bear in evaluating the participants across various rounds, including ethnic wear, western wear, talent showcases, and personal interviews.

"We were impressed by the participants' confidence and poise," remarked Suraj Sanil, one of the judges.

The winners were feted with crowns, sashes, certificates, mementos, gift hampers, and cash prizes in recognition of their achievements.

Event organisers Tanseen Arah, Ramesh Kanchan, and Rachan Salian expressed their gratitude to sponsors, guests, participants, and their families for their enthusiastic support. "This pageant aims to nurture and showcase local talent," said Tanseen Arah.

Shamili G Shankar, director of G S Shamili Infra Ambalpady, inaugurated the event, emphasising the opportunities for aspiring models in today's fashion industry. "This is a great opportunity for all the enthusiasts to participate in such a pageant," she noted in her address.

Dr Nikethana, a professor at Dr G Shankar Government Women’s First Grade College, underscored the transformative impact of the event. "This pageant contributes significantly to feminist ideals and showcases the dedication of participants," she remarked during the presidential note.

"As the contest began, 50 participants were selected for the ethnic and western wear rounds from an initial pool of 98," reported Ramesh Kanchan, welcoming the gathering.

The event was graced by notable personalities including Suryakanth J Suvarna, president of Bharat Co-operative Bank, Sukrutha Wagle and Chirashree Anchan, actresses, and others from the entertainment industry.

Supreetha recited the prayer, Ramesh Kanchan welcomed the gathering, Pallavi delivered the vote of thanks, and Manju Rai Muloor and Pallavi Devadiga compered the event.
