Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School celebrates Bunny Movement

Mangaluru, Jun 25: Lourdes Central School, kindergarten section held the investiture ceremony of Bunny Movement on Jun 22 in the AV room, keeping in mind to create love for the nature, love towards God, to help and love each other every day was the objective of starting this activity by the school.

The programme was graced by principal Fr Johnson L Sequeira and vice principal Belita Mascarenhas. The programme began invoking God’s blessings by saying the Universal Prayer and singing a prayer song 'It’s a great day'. 

The Bunny Movement was inaugurated by unwrapping a Handmade Bunny prepared by Neumsha wrapped in an attractive box by principal and chief guest. The chief guest for this occasion was Sufala B.

In her address, she spoke about the meaning of Bunny Movement, explained the aims and objectives. She also showed different types of smiles which the little ones enjoyed. Prema highlighted the significance of Bunny Movement. Linette Pereira helped in taking the oath 'I shall try to be a good girl/boy'.

Fr principal in his address appreciated the teachers and students for the discipline and training of the students. He reminded children to follow the values which were explained by the chief guest.

Vice principal Belita Mascarenhas along with Fr principal and chief guest opened the bundle of aprons and scrap books. Every child was put on a Bunny apron which gave the little ones great feelings. At the end a group photo of all the Bunnies along with the guest, principal and staff was taken.

The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Jenifer Menezes who also compered the whole programme.
