Daijiworld Media Network – Puttur (MS)

Puttur, Jul 30: A major landslide has completely halted road traffic on the Saralikatte road, severing the connection between Ajilamogaru, Saralikatte, and Uppinangady.

The landslide occurred at Panjukku in Barya village, blocking the Mani Halla-Uppinangady road on Tuesday July 30. As a result, travellers are now using alternative routes.

The incident happened near the Panjukku bus stop, which fortunately remained undamaged. However, the landslide brought down electric poles, disrupting power supply in the area.

Travellers heading to Uppinangady, Puttur, and B C Road are advised to use alternative routes until the road is cleared and normal traffic is restored.
