Daijiworld Media Network – Kadaba (MS)

Kadaba, Aug 8: An inebriated passenger caused a commotion on a KSRTC bus traveling between Uppinangady and Subramanya on Tuesday evening, assaulting the conductor over a dispute about change.

The bus, full of passengers including school children, had just departed from Uppinangady and reached Kemmara when the drunken passenger began arguing with the conductor about change. The passenger then damaged a bus window and scratched the neck and hands of conductor Rafeeq.

The passengers informed the police, who escorted the bus and the unruly passenger to the police station. The police took an undertaking from the disruptive passenger. Due to the incident, school children and other passengers arrived home quite late in the evening.

One should really sometimes have to pity the conductor. All are stretching big note for a small amount and demand change from him. Some conductors also very cunny and never return the change ,and only on demand gets back at the end station.Whether this fellow was really drunk ?Of course he smashed the glas, scratched the hands means he was not so drunk.let the Police decide and punish him
