Media Release

Mangaluru, Jul 31: The Youth Red Cross unit, in association with Abhijnya Physiotherapy & Wellness Clinic, organised a Physiotherapy consultation camp at St Agnes College (Autonomous) on Saturday, July 26.

The day began with a formal inauguration led by the emcee, Hasna, which commenced with a prayer. Serena Saldanha, the Youth Red Cross (YRC) secretary, welcomed the gathering, including Dr Sr Vinora A C, PG coordinator, who graced the occasion with her presence and delivered the presidential address. Also present were Dr Sunjyoth H S, Abhilash Kshatriya, Nimitha K (YRC staff coordinator), and the students.

The inauguration continued with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Abhilash Kshatriya then addressed the students and shared an insightful message. This was followed by the vote of thanks, delivered by Mashood.

A brief session on basic physiotherapy concepts, led by Dr Sunjyoth H S, educated over 130 participants on the fundamentals and benefits of physiotherapy. Following the session, personalised consultations were conducted.

The free camp attracted students from St Agnes College and various other institutions, along with the family and friends of students. It offered a valuable opportunity for individuals to discuss health concerns and receive expert guidance, thereby promoting awareness of physiotherapy and patient-focused care.
