Press release

Kuwait, May 18: Pompei Pre- University College was founded in Talipady, Aikala, Mangalore by the late Fr George Menezes in 1945.

It completed 60 years and the Diamond Jubilee was celebrated recently in a befitting manner. To commemorate this event the management, staff, students and ex-students have decided to take up certain developmental projects, especially a Science and Library Block and scholarship for economically poor and deserving students.

In this regard, the college management had appealed to a number of its alumni/alumnae spread out in different parts of the world.

In response to this call, some of the alumni and well-wishers from Kuwait have formed a committee to mobilize funds for the said projects.

The members of the committee are the following:

Elias Sanctis, Stany Sanctis, Valerian Sanctis, Helen Sanctis, Ivan D'Souza, Tressy Sanctis and Veena Sanctis

The college has requested the alumni in Kuwait to come forward generously to contribute and support the good cause of this institution.

It has also requested for similar initiative in other places.
