Mumbai, Jun 9: Madhur Bhandarkar known for his realistic cinema can have a very unusual cast for his films as he wants the actor to suit the character well.

The latest example of this is the casting of film director Sudhir Mishra in his upcoming film 'Traffic Signal'.

Sudhir will be doing a cameo in the film. Madhur wanted someone to play the role of a mafia don and that is when filmmaker Ashok Pandit suggested Sudhir Mishra’s name to him.

Sudhir Mishra known for making some brilliant films like Chameli and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi has never acted before. In fact, he confessed this to Madhur saying that, it would be completely Madhur’s responsibility to make him act in the film.

Traffic Signal stars Kunal Khemu and Neetu Chandra in the lead roles. The film is very realistic and includes real street children and eunuchs as supporting characters in the film.
