New Delhi, May 10 (IANS): Samsung India's country head for mobile phones and digital imaging Vineet Taneja had quit the company this week, according to industry sources.
However, Samsung in its official statement said: “Samsung does not comment on rumours or speculation."
There has been talk in the industry for a few months that Taneja would resign. Taneja, who had come from Bharti Airtel, was in charge of mobile phones division for more than a year now.
During late 2013 Samsung India has revamped its top management with South Korean executives taking complete control of the top deck.
It appointed S.K. Kim as the new managing director of the India business, with a mandate to grow sales of televisions, home appliances and mobile phones divisions.
