Mangalore: Has Rashid Malbari fled the country? Police seem clueless

Shreyas H S
With Inputs from Dayanand Kukkaje / Deekshith D V
Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore

Mangalore, Aug 25: In what appears to be a major security lapse, Rashid Malbari, a suspected accomplice of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and who was under prosecution for several cases of illegal possession of arms, threat, extortion, and murder, has reportedly evaded surveillance and gone underground after he was granted conditional bail on July 21, 2014, say reliable sources.

Malbari was released after he was granted conditional bail by a Bangalore city court on July 21. He was slapped with charges of murder and illegal possession of fire arms under the Arms Act in a crime that took place at KG Halli, Bangalore. He was also granted bail by the JMFC court, Mangalore, according to a lawyer who wishes to remain anonymous. He was then sent to Central Jail, Bangalore.

However, his reported absconding has raised serious questions about the level of security provided by the police department, which seems to have failed in keeping vigil on the notorious man.

The information received by daijiworld from the Bangalore commissionerate states that it was a clear lapse of security on the part of the police. City police commissioner M N Reddy said he was unable to comment on the matter as it would be unfair of him to do so without examining the facts. Sources from Bangalore said the department was scouting for Malabari after he reportedly failed to appear at the station and in court twice after July 21.

Police sources from the Mangalore commissionerate told daijiworld that Malbari had married a girl and repeatedly tried to flee the country. Police sources within Mangalore CCB claimed they had credible information about his marriage, while sources from the commissioner’s office corroborated that he had been making deliberate efforts to leave the country.

Besides, highly placed sources within the RSS, corroborating the possibility of Malbari having gone underground, said the organization’s think tank in the district had received a red alert from the police department.

"We had information about his marriage and we did know that he was attempting to flee the country,” said Mangalore city commissioner R Hitendra. When asked on whether the fugitive had left the country, he said that he had no information on this.

Abdul Rafiq, Uchila / Dubai, why are you blaming Central Government for Malbari's escape? you should blame the Bangalore city court for releasing him on bail and our Karnataka state police not keeping a eye on this terrorist a murderer, there should have been some type of surveillance on this person. now it may be more dangerous for our country he may plan for worse thing to hurt our country...

Mahendra Shetty, Mumbai Mangalore, Yes you are right, 10 YEARS BEFORE OUR COUNTRY OUR INDIA WAS IN A SAFE HAND AND WE WERE PROUD, but you and I, infact all know's what happened, how a dangerous terrorist was given VIP treatment till kandher and was released he was set free. Mr. Abdul Rafique,
Why you are blaming the present govt. which came into power 3 months back. If you are really impartial and worried about this country (always used write in this forum) accept that for this situation all the political parties are responsible.

I hope you did not see yesterday's Times Now Prime Time news. The way of the the MLA of Kashmir insulted India was disgusting. If he would have told like that in Pakistan or any other Islamic countries, they would have killed him soon after he stepped out from the TV studio. These types of anti nationalists exists only in India, nowhere else.

Dear Sudhakar, do not worry about Dubai. It is already developed also developing more since long time. Whenever they feel the building is old, they will demolish and build new. When they feel some strict law has to be implemented, they will pass the law very next day. You cannot compare India with Dubai.
But in Modi case, he was criticizing previous UPA govt for each and everything. He came to power in the name of development, stop the terrorism & crimes, stop the price hikes, strong reply to Pakistan. But nothing has done. For complete the task it will take time. But he didn't take initiative for anything and failed in all fields. Finally people started to reject him (result of by election).

Wait some time, at least till 2019 election. Then also you are not satisfied with the performance, come to India during election time, cast your vote to dethrone the govt.

I am not supporting this guy but this guy got bail from court if his crime was proved he would have been convicted but this guy got bail....majority of goondas in our district posess arms,do extortion for their masters in dubai or bangkok
But still I ask daiji whether RSS as turned alternate investigation agency...to quote from their sources it is undermining national Investigation agencies present in our country...
Thirdly if he had escaped it is collective failure of both state and center...But I still want to ask what crime he is facing now if he has such a crime then it is definitely a security lapse ....

who gave signature of witness for his bail ?

are lawyers not responsible ? Just for money can they behave against the interests of nation?

when so much cry was there about this "gentleman"- why court decided to release him?

if i am correct he threatened the then crime branch inspector for consequences of his arrest in front of the court as per media report in daiji...

if court / lawyers / "buddhi(heena) jeevigalu can not differentiate hardcore criminals & petty criminals......

Some time we should not mix crime and religion.

    1. USSR leader Joseph Stalin :- A best coir boy in church with his beautiful voice. He trained in Orthodox Church Seminary for Priesthood, and later expelled for Left leaning.
Under his Iron fist rule more than 10 million people died in USSR. He has not spared his close relatives also. He razed almost all Church and Mosques in USSR.

2.Adolf Hitler - German Dictator :- A devoted Roman Catholic in his childhood. Later became blood thirsty beast in Europe.

3.Henrich Himmler – German Interior Minister and Chief of German Secret Police “ GESTAPO and SS :- A devoted Christian Roman Catholic . Later his name shivering entire European Population till end of World War II.

    4. Central African Leader Jean Claud Bokassa : Roman Catholic by birth. Later converted to Islam and again Re-converted into Christianity. Killed thousands people and became cannibal.

5.Idi Ameen : - Ugandan Muslim dictator. More than half million people died. He was Cannibal

    6. Japanese military leaders :- Majority Buddhist and Shinto’s : - Killed millions of Chinese , Koreans, Philippino’s.

7.Portigeese Dictator Salazar : - A devote Christian Roman Catholic. Joined to Seminary for priesthood. Later came out and became Blood thirsty Tyrant .

I can see some commentators are trying to fix this Gangster to his community.

Community doesn't support or accepts these peoples or all religion are against of these thugs.

    1. Ravi Poojary or chota rajan or Veerappan are biggest criminals but we should not fix them with Hindus. No Hindus will accept them also.

2.No Muslims will accept Rasheed Malabari or Dawood on religion tag and In fact they are against them.

3.Charles sobraj or Prabhakaran will not be accepted by christians as their religion representative and they will be against their acts.

So stop giving these criminals religious tags.

    Dont blame any Govt.

Blame Judicial System. Poor people for silly reason arrested and languishing in Jail ( Judicial custody ) and awaiting date for hearing....( Thaarik pe thaarik ). But hard core criminals getting bail. Even convicted criminals got bail ( Tamarind court shooting in Delhi ). Reacent case a convicted lady got bail from SC.

Regarding Rashid Malabari, he may be fled to Nepal ( People crossing without passport ) from there he may be fled some other places with forged passport.

Its realy a mockery of Justice. Mera Bharath Mahaan.

Rashid Malbari, who was under prosecution for several cases of illegal possession of arms, threat, extortion, and murder. Still this man is given bail, put the guarantor in the jail without any delay so also the lawyer who fought for his bail, well its time for police to take all these fools behind the bars and give them good beating. There has to be surely a change in the law. No BAIL at all for such type of cases, just hang them we dont need them in our society at all, at all.
