‘Ganesha Chaturthi’ celebrated with fervour at Prasanna Ganapati Mandir

Mumbai, Sep 5: ‘Ganesha Chaturthi’ was celebrated at Vaishali City Kalpanagari Society, Mulund East, where the Ganapathi statue crafted from stone was worshipped at the Prasanna Ganapati Mandir on Thursday September 4.

Ganesha Chaturthi began early in the morning with the cleaning of the temple and ‘Ganahoma’. At noon, the ‘Mahapuje’ was held and in the evening the ‘Rangapuje’ and other rituals were held.

Under the guidance of Somashekara Bhatt of Mulund, Devi Bhatt conducted the worship and distributed the ‘Teertha Prasada’. Nagriguttu Vivek Shetty, president, Bunts’ Chamber of Commerce and Industries, and administrative board member of the temple, Jayanth Shetty, Jayananada Shetty, Jayarama Rai, Kitta Shetty, Kethan Damini, Champak Poojara, Nageen Poojara, Ramesh Pateel, Magan Bai, Pushparaj Shetty, Sudeep Guha, Chandrakanth Kore, and Suresh Ajila were present during the celebration.

President of Mulund Bunts’ Association Dr Sathyaprakash Shetty and vice-president S B Shetty were present at the evening’s programme.
