Thank you : Bhavyashree gets timely help, shows progress in health

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Mar 15: Once again, the readers of daijiworld have come to the rescue of the needy, this time a young girl who is suffering from tuberculosis and required financial assistance for medical treatment.

Bhavyashree V Devadiga (19), daughter of Anand S Devadiga, resident of Kulai here, was diagnosed with tuberculosis over a year ago that completely changed her life, and her paretns had requested for financial help for her treatment.

Shodhan Prasad, movie producer of 'Nirel' and 'Dhand' fame, who is also founder president of 'Nama Tuluver', initiated and verified the need for financial assistance for Bhavyashree. The appeal was put online on daijiworld February 19. The total estimated cost of treatment was around Rs 4 lacs, and the required amount was received within a week after the publication of the appeal on daijiworld.

Shodhan Prasad also collected the amount through his network, which has now helped to bring a smile on Bhvayashree's face. Her parents are overwhelmed with the support they received from people.

"We are ever grateful to the people who helped us in time to save the life of our daughter. As per the test results, there has been much improvement in Bhavyashree's health. The doctor has given positive sign of improvement and two more tests are remaining to confirm that she is perfectly alright and has come back to normal," says Ananda Devadiga, Bhavyashree's father.

Daijiword would like to take this opportunity to thank Shodhan and all the readers who have contributed financially as well as in other forms to Bhavyashree.

Good Work. Real joy to know this. I request everyone to come up with such issues instead of communalism. Bring a smile to everyone without seeing their religion/caste. Let us live in harmony.

Its a real joy to know that a young girl is getting better by our contributions. Nobody deserves to suffer for no fault of theirs and its very cruel to let them die a slow death.

We need to help more such deserving people. This is our society, we can't pretend to be blind when one of us is suffering. This time, we pat our back and promise to do many more such good works.

Thank you DW, and all those who assisted in bringing Bhavyashree to our notice.
