Media Release
Dubai, Sep 22: United Brahmavarites, the united body of Brahmavarites in the UAE which came into existence in the year 2011 with the aim of bringing all the Brahmavarites working and living in UAE under the one banner, is on the threshold of completing four successful years. The vision, commitment and hard work of a few like-minded, energetic and enthusiastic Brahmavarites residing in the UAE has yielded immense fruits as United Brahmavarites has reached out to more and more people and has given a platform for them to come together, be together, aim together and achieve together.
Scores of Brahmavarites are living in the Gulf and especially in the UAE. Despite maintaining regular personal contacts with each other, there was always a need felt for a common platform wherein all could come together to celebrate and enhance their unity, promote the talents of members and also stand together for a cause such as reaching to the needy and less fortunate brethren in UAE and back home in and around Brahmavar. It’s a vision to build up a family of Brahmavarites that has all the nuances of the native language, culture, traditions and lifestyle.
During the last four years, UB members have had many occasions to come together and enhance mutual relationship. Now as UB is on the verge of completing another fruitful year, the president and executive committee of UB are gearing up for ‘Unity Fiesta 2015’. The much-awaited event will be held on Friday October 30 at India Club, Crystal Lounge, Oud Metha - Karama.
This is an official invitation to all the Brahmavarites working and residing in the entire United Arab Emirates to join in at the event in order to celebrate the unity of Brahmavarites in UAE, and support the most-cherished dream of Brahmavarites in the UAE in and through United Brahmavarites.
This event is also an opportunity to bring the community together and encourage children, youth and people of all age groups to strengthen unity and keep the spirit alive.
The entertainment quotient of the day will adequately be looked after by the UB members who will be staging dances and skits for the audience.
The special attraction of this year’s anniversary celebrations will be ‘UB Super Moms’, a first-of-its-kind, unique dance competition conceptualised exclusively for the mothers. It is a special event which will give mothers an opportunity to bring forth their hidden talent. Often mothers spend much of their time, energy and resource in spotting, nurturing and promoting the talents of their children. Despite their hectic office and house chores, mothers find time for their children in particular and family in general. Many of the times mothers sacrifice their own music & arts’ career for the sake of their family and children.
Even when competitions and events are organized, first thought goes to children and youth. But mothers are often relegated to the back stage. So UB is giving an opportunity to such mothers to wear on their dancing shoes which are resting at some corner of the house and storm to the dance floor.
