When the vested interest parties push for their pet project, first thing they will bring forth is JOBS.(Honey brings Bees) People will fall for it and jump the wagon. Now comes the big item pet project of billioners,so called SEZ. Poster child for this project is JOBS also can be called as Lip Service.

They are taking away farm jobs and the living, off the land. First, someone should question how many farm jobs are lost and how many jobs are created in this SEZ. All good paying jobs of higher level will be kept aside for inner circle patriots. Few low paid jobs will be given to the people who lost their land.

Are they going to hire less educated farm worker to perform high skilled job in Chemical company? Just a curious question to people who lost the land in 60's for NMPT,MCF or Baikampady Industrial Estate or even Bajpe Airport. Did they get fair compensation for the land they lost?. Did everyone of them receive the jobs promised to them?

Just look at the damage to landscape, dust pollution, water pollution and air that people breath and roads around Panamboor towards Surathkal. NGO's Should stay together and help the poor farm people who toil their life. God will reward you in ten fold.
