Mangalore, Aug 8: "Literature shall try to vanish the inner darkness with all its brightness, while due concern towards unhealthy ideology is an inevitable factor in the present day situation", said Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, president of DK chapter of Kannada Sahitya Parishat. He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the book release function arranged by Katha Bimba at Balmatta D.Ed College.  

    

Two novels, "Nakshatra Balli" and "Muraliya Nadava Keli..." by Raghavendra Rao B, well-known to be Anu Belle were released by Vamana Nandavara and Prabhakar Shetty. 

Vamana Nandavara called for coordination amongst the local forums meant for literature so that the number of books being released week after week does not go unnoticed by the readers and general public. 

Ln G R Shetty, Ln Chandrashekhar Boloor, publishers of Mangala Publication and Madhuvan Graphics, novelist Vivekananda Kamath, P V  Pradeep Kumar were present at the function.

A session on reader's opinion and a poetry session were also arranged after the book release. Sathish K Shetty and Suresh were the conveners of the programme.
