Great gesture by Tulunaadina mannina maga Dr.Alva....
In city like Bangalore education is purely a money making business where as Dakshina Kannada has become a super education hub because of people like Dr.Alva,Dr.Heggade of Dharmasthala and so many with good heart and compassion.
Thats why parents from other place like Bangalore and other places prefer their wards studying in DK.....

I am happy for Anant and I am happy for Alva's. You have set an example Alva's I have my choicest blessings and good wishes for your continuing such support to the society.

There have been repeated calls to reputed institutions in the city to loosen their fist a bit, not to be money-oriented business houses but come forward and help high scoring needy students. There were poor students scoring above 90% who were refused any discount in college fees. They are not setting a good trend. This is despite the affluent collecting funds and giving it to you.

Its those who benefited from you that pray for your success, please do help those who deserve.
