Governor rules out Sasikala for CM: Report

Chennai, Feb 10 (IANS): AIADMK General Secretary V.K Sasikala suffered a huge setback in the tussle for Tamil Nadu chief ministership as Governor C. Vidyasagar Rao said she cannot be called to form the government, India Today news channel reported on Friday.

According the channel, the Governor in a report to the Union Home Ministry cited the pending disproportionate assets (DA) case against Sasikala as the reason for her not being qualified to stake the claim.

The channel, which said it has a copy of the report sent by the Governor, reported that he also took note of the PILs against Sasikala, on which verdict was pending.

The PILs have been filed challenging her elevation as the Chief Minister, since "she has not been the General Secretary for a continuous period of five years", as mandated by the party's constitution.

Dirty party of India the BJP putting its dirty hands in the affairs of Tamilnadu. While they could not even get one MP or MLA elected from the BJP in Tamilnadu, its secret plans jointly supported by RSS can be seen through its chela Governor Vidyasagar Rao. Modi is also taking bath with raincoat in the Tamilnadu affairs.

I have no sympathies towards Sahikala nor OPS. As far as Guv concerned, his cat and mouse play will be certainly a questionable behavior. He can't cite reason that case is pending in the SC or whatever may be.Majority party leader should be summoned for Govt formation and if concerned person not the member of either houses,he or she should be got elected with in 180 days,,,,,,,,Why Guv citing internal constitution of certain party?BJP govt did not learn from past mistakes which it dissolved but then SC reinstated. BSY was discounted by then GUV of Karnataka to supersede but Union cabinet headed by MMS point blankly refused to do so.......CERTAINLY BJP HAS HIDDEN AGENDA IN THIS ISSUE,
