Mangalore, Feb 28: Pilikula Nisargadhama is attracting visitors by the dozen who flock to watch three five-month-old tigers which have been allowed to roam freely in the bio-diversity park.

The cubs were born at Pilikula five months ago but only now they have been exposed to public viewing. The tigress which gave birth to the three cubs was brought from Shimoga one and a half year ago. With the birth of these three cubs the number of tigers increased to six at Pilikula bio-diversity park.

The cubs look adorable! May they always be safe and healthy...that's my prayer for them. But, I was uncomfortable when I took in their surrounding (In the photos). 'They are allowed to move freely', said the article. Freely where? In their concrete cage?

I coudn't see anything that resembles a Tiger's natural habitat. I just hope it was solely the decision of the cubs to pose for the camera in their concrete 'palace'. I hope they are free to explore and experience nature the rest of the times.

Really nice to see. I saw in news other day that India had only almost 1400 of these left. Felt really bad to hear that this is the state of our national animal. Guys for those who have not seen it for real, they are the most beautifull creation among any animal's. They deserve that royality of being our National animal. I wish Pilikula management provide suitable facility's for breeding tigers and thus help increase their number's else very soon we will not have any one left in India

We missed this opportunity to see these cubs. They are really very cute. We visited Pilikula on Jan 6th '08 and we could see only two Tigers. Very nice Zoo and very well maintained. I am sure will attract many visitors.
