Margao, Sep 5: Noted environmentalist Sundarlal Bahuguna recently said that the cutting the hills and trees for sake of the constructing the huge building is foolishness.
Bahuguna who was down in Goa, said in a public meeting at Banaulim.
According to him buildings which are mushrooming in the state are big concern for ecology.
Bahuguna is well known for his famous 'Chipko Movement'. He also appealed that environment should be preserved for next generation.
He also said that people should spread the message of saving the environment across the Goa.
Real India is seen in Villages. Tourist attracts to natural beauty of Goa. So by ruining this natural beauty, who will come to see the cities laden with huge concrete buildings, he questioned and appealed to save trees and hills.
