Abu Dhabi: KCO Announces Cultural Fest, Volleyball and Throwball Tourney

Abu Dhabi, Dec 1: Konkani Cultural Organization (KCO), Abu Dhabi, one of the leading Mangalorean associations in the Middle East has geared up for a cultural fest on January 16 and Throwball and Volleyball tourney on February 20, 2009.
The above events are planned first time by KCO to explore local talents in entertainment and sports.
In a media release to daijiworld.com, KCO media coordinator Vivek Serrao said that KCO is organizing these events to start with their activities under their newly-formed managing committee and their members for the year 2008-2009.

Cultural Evening – Variety Entertainment programme from all Konkani-speaking people in the UAE
Day: Friday January 16, 2009
Venue: Abu Dhabi Indian School (ADIA) Auditorium – Abu Dhabi
Time: 10.30 am onwards
Sports Events - Throwball for women and volleyball for men – Rolling Trophy's - (Entry for people from Karnataka state only)
Date of the Event: Friday February 20, 2009
Venue: Abu Dhabi Indian School (ADIA) Ground – Abu Dhabi
