Jeddah, Jan 20: The police here arrested one of three young Saudis accused of kidnapping and raping a 17-year-old Saudi girl last week. Police spokesman Col. Misfar Al-Juaid said the search was continuing for the other two suspects.
The girl went to the police saying she went to a mall to meet a boy with whom she admitted having an affair for some months. But when she got there she said three young men (including her boyfriend) kidnapped her, took her to an apartment and raped her.
Police said the girl told them that she had met the young man online.
Al-Juaid took the opportunity to warn girls not to be lured by online advances.
