Bahrain: Jovita to Perform Arangetram Along with Four Others on Jun 3

Bahrain, May 31: Mangalorean Jovita D’Silva is one among the five talented artistes, who are well known here are performing the “Bharatanatyam Arangetram” guided by the guru Hansul Gani, Nrityakalaratna and renowned danseuse at Indian Club on Thursday JUne 3 from 8.00 pm onwards.



Jovita D’Silva is daughter of James D’Silva and Jacintha D’Silva has won several prizes in the dance competitions organized by Konkani Kutam and Kannda Sangha. The other performers are Navya Vinod Moorthy, Sanjana Prem, Sruthi Surendranathan and Swetha Surendranathan.

First secretary of Indian embassy Ajay Kumar will be the chief guest. Khalifa Shaheen, managing director of KSDI and P Unnikrishnan, director of Radia Voice will be the guests of honour.


Hansul Gani, who runs the Nrityanjali Dance Academy is the disciple of Kalarani Ramachandran and Rajkumar Kalakshetra, who is an exponent of Pandanallur style of Bharatanatyam.

    Jovita D'Silva is a gifted child and proved herself by her dance performanaces in Bahrain. She has also performed in "Ramayana nruthyaroopaka" (ballet) presented during the historic visit of Kanrataka Chief Minister to Bahrain.
