Shanteri Mahalasa Narayan Welfare Trust Celebrates Annual Day

Mumbai, Aug 24:
The ninth annual day celebration of metro-based Shanteri Mahalasa Narayan Welfare Trust was held at Gokarna Partagali Jeevottam Mutt Dwarakanath Auditorium, Wadala, on Sunday August 22.
 
Members of the Mahalasa Kulavi community from all over Maharastra arrived here to offer ‘puja’ at Jeevottam Mutt on Sunday.
 


Vedamurti Vaikunt Bhat performed the Vedic rites on the occasion. 
 
P S Kini and his wife were also present. Vinod Vaikunt Kamat, president, Mahalasa Samstan, Mardol, Goa, was the chief guest at the simple function held after the puja.
 
Trust office-bearers Padurang Kamat, Amar Paikakode, and Bhagavanta Pai Varnekar honoured the community elders and presented scholarships to the talented students of the community during the function.
 
Bantwal Vaman Pai, R V Shanbagh, GSB Seva Mandal president Dilip Pai, Ganapati Committee chief Dr Bhujanga Pai, Dr Kota Venkatesh G Pai, Kamalaksha G Saraf, and Ullas Kamat were also present.
 
Narayani Welfare Trust president Vishnu R Pai, secretary V D Bhat, treasurer Gurudas Pai and other office-bearers conducted the ‘bhajan’ after the stage programme.
