Mumbai, Dec 11 (PTI) Over 100 cyclists have confirmed participation in the 50th edition of the Mumbai-Pune cycling race to be held tomorrow.
A total of 120 cyclists, including participants from Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Central Railway, South Central Railway, Army, Punjab, Jharkhand, UP, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh have confirmed their participation, a press release said here.
The annual event, being held on the occasion of the 70th birthday of NCP chief Sharad Pawar, is being organised by the Baramati Mitra Mandal and Maharashtra Cycling Association for the past 49 years.
The total cash prize money for this year's competition will be Rs 6,50,000, with Rs 3,03,000 to be distributed among the first 10 cyclists who cross the finishing line.
