Udupi, Sep 15: The tTitular feast of Mother of Sorrows Church was celebrated with grandeur on Thursday September 15.

Fr Ashwin Aranha, assistant parish priest, Kundapur church, was the main celebrant for the holy Eucharistic celebrations. In his homily he said, "Mother Mary Mother of God had faith in Almighty and his plans. Mother Mary is the first person in the history of salvation. The present young generation always talks about taking the extreme step when they face difficulties in life. But before taking such extreme steps, we need to introspect about what wrong has happened in our life. Mother Mary helps us in such cases.”

Fr Charles Menezes, parish priest of Mother of Sorrows Church, Fr Valerian Mendonca, rector Milagres Cathedral, Fr Royson Fernandes, editor Uzwaad, Fr Steevan Fernandes, assistant parish priest, Fr Johnson Sequeira, principal of St Mary's CBSE School, Fr William Martis and other priests from the diocese were present for the Eucharistic celebrations.
