Mangaluru: Man loses life in accident, another suffers serious injuries

Mangaluru, Sep 19: A 32-year-old man died in an accident at Jeppinamogaru Mahakalipadpu cross here on Monday September 19.

The deceased is identified as Prathap Shetty (32), a resident of Chikkamagaluru. He was the manager of Wine and Dine bar at Ambika road. Pillion rider Abhi Shetty (22) was seriously injured in the accident.

It is said that at 2 am n Monday, the duo was on the way to Farangipete to the room of Prathap’s brother. At Jeppinamogaru, Prathap, who was riding the bike, lost control over the vehicle as a result of which, he got flung to the road. Prathap lost his life on spot.
