Bantwal: DC K V Rajendra receives grievances at administrative Soudha

Bantwal, Sep 20: Deputy commissioner Dr K V Rajendra on Tuesday, September 20 received grievances from people.

Former zilla panchayat member M Tungappa Bangera said that sites are approved without files and applications in the Akrama Sakrama committee. The DC directed tahsildar Dr Smitha Ramu to investigate and said that detailed investigations should be held if the D Notices were issued without files.

There were letters regarding illegal sand mining, compensation to those who were displaced during four lane road at Punjalkatte – B C Road, disputes regarding land, illegal buildings at Bantwal, buildings that are not vacated at Melkar, KSRTC Vegadoot bus near Thumbe Degree College and additional bus stop.

Abdul Kabeer, Jagadish Rai, Moly Edda Gonsalves and students were present.

The DC directed to allot 50% additional land for SC/ST leaders' delegation. Bantwal tahsildar Dr Smitha Ramu, deputy tahsildar Navin Benjanapadavu, Narendranath Mithar, Diwaker Mugulya, revenue inspector Janardhan, Vijay, Panchayat Raj department assistant executive engineer Tharanath Salian, municipal council chief officer A R Swamy and others were present.
