Mangaluru: Two injured in accident involving tempo, bike

Mangaluru, Sep 21: Two people travelling on a bike suffered injuries in an accident between a tempo and a bike near Kolya, NH 66 on Wednesday September 21. 

The injured are identified as Lenon and Shodhan, residents of Neermarga. They are undergoing treatment at the private hospital in Thokottu.

The tempo was heading to Kolya from Talapady and was turning at Kolya junction, national highway when the bike going to Kasargod from Mangaluru collided with it.

The bike was mangled in the impact. However, critical injuries to their heads were averted as the bike riders were wearing helmets. South traffic division police arrived to the spot and conducted investigation.
