Udupi: Abuse, threat on life of woman – Accused acquitted by court

Udupi, Sep 22: Third additional civil and JMFC judge justice Vinayaka Vanakande acquitted who was accused of allegedly threatening to murder a woman.

Accused Sadananda Madiwala alias Sadhu, resident of Kurkalu village of Kaup, was alleged to have abused a woman based on her caste, inflicted injury and threatened to kill her.

The court which conducted the complete inquiry on Wednesday, September 21, acquitted the accused.

Shiriyara Prabhakara Nayak of district legal services authority argued for the accused.
