Beltangady, Sep 24: Block Youth Congress leader Abhinandan Harish Kumar posted 'PayCM' posters within the limits of the taluk here. 'PayCM' posters were posted in bus stand, public toilets and other public places overnight. 

It may be recalled that in Bengaluru Congress activists have posted depicting the design of the e-wallet, Paytm. The poster pictured the face of Bommai in the middle of the QR Code.

Below the QR Code, it was written ‘Scan this QR code to make the CM Pay for Corruption’.

The Congress poster campaign against the BJP had made BJP leaders fume.

Later, Congress leaders also attempted to post the poster and they were detained. Congress leaders including state party chief DK Shivakumar, Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah, and Randeep Singh Surjewala were detained while they posted the posters.

In retaliation to this BJP released a booklet against Congress with 'Scam Ramaiah' on the alleged Scam under the Siddaramaiah's government. Both the national parties exchanged verbal spats over the posters and booklet.
