Udupi: Relocated Shirva branch of Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative society Ltd inaugurated

Udupi, Sep 27: Newly relocated Shirva branch of Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative society Ltd, was inaugurated at JMJ Complex, first floor, of Shirva was held on Saturday, September 24.

Rathan Shetty, president, Shirva Grama Panchayat inaugurated the branch at the new premise and addressed the gathering stating the importance of catholic institutions in the development of the society at large, and the discipline they follow in their services.

Fr Dr Leslie Clifford D'Souza, parish priest, Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva blessed the branch and congratulated the president and the team of the Society for shifting the branch to a more convenient place. He showered his blessings that the Society may grow, develop and prosper among the many other banks in the region. He also insisted on the importance of development of all individuals along with the development of the bank.

The safe room of the branch was inaugurated by Mary Mendonca. The customer locker facility was inaugurated by Leena Fernandes, Retd headmistress, Sri Venkataramana Higher Pry school, Avaralmatti.

The programme was presided by Aloysius D'Almeida, president, Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative society Ltd. Mary Mendonca, Leena Fernandes and Monica D'Souza were the guests of honour. Louis Lobo, vice president, Udupi Catholic Credit Co-operative society Ltd thanked the gathering. Sheetal Maria D'Souza, manager of Shirva branch compered the programme.

The members of the board of directors Ignatius Monis, Franklin Menezes, Felix Pinto, James D'Souza, Percy J D'Souza, Archibald S D'Souza, Kevin R Periera, Jacintha DSouza, Gilbert Fernandes, Dr Neri Cornelio, Loyset J. Cornelio, CEO Sandeep A Fernandes and the staff of the Society were present for the inauguration.
