Bengaluru, Nov 29: The villagers of Alur in Doddaballapur, where JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy had an overnight halt during his Pancharatna Rath Yatra on Monday, was gifted with a calf on Tuesday morning before the commencement of the day’s programme.
The former chief minister said his Pancharatna Rath Yatra has entered the 12th day on Tuesday and it has been very useful and productive with people rushing to meet him with their problems even past midnight.
Kumaraswamy said he has prepared 1.25 lakh action plans and will chalk out the timeline for their implementation on day 1 if his JD(S) party is able to form the government on its own.
He said he has already traversed 147 kms on the Rath Yatra and held 48 public meetings besides a large number of impromptu roadside meetings along the way.
“There is a discernible wave in favour of JD(S) all over the State and the party can get even an ordinary youth elected,’’ he said,
The JD(S) leader said Pancharatna Rath Yatra will be continued till March 25.
