Kundapur, Dec 8: “I, who carry the memories of running around the vicinity of the court while studying in Bhandarkar’s college, feel proud to receive felicitation in the presence of honourable judges in the court complex,” said Rishab Shetty, director and lead actor of hit movie Kantara.

Rishab Shetty spoke after receiving felicitation by the bar association of the taluk at the court complex in the town.

Additional district magistrate Abdul Rahim Hussain Sheikh handed over the certificate of appreciation to president of the association Bannadi Somanath Hegde, given by state legal services authority to the bar association of Kundapur in recognition of the excellent support provided during Lok Adalat that was held in the town.

Senior civil judge N Raju, chief civil judge Dhanesh Mugali, additional civil judge Rohini and second additional civil judge Vidya A S were present.

Bannady Somnath Hegde presided over the function. Srinath J Rao, secretary of the bar association welcomed the gathering. Reshma Shetty offered the prayers. Raviraj Shetty Macchattu compered the event. Prasanna Shetty Keradi rendered vote of thanks.
