Mumbai, May 21 (PTI) Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has turned producer with UTV Spotboy's 'Chillar Party', co-directed by Vikas Bahl and Nitesh Tiwari.
Salman is the only 'Khan' who didn't have any production house but he has decided to take the plunge with Chillar Party. The 'Dabangg' star will co-produce the film with Ronnie Screwwala.
Salman saw it a few weeks back and absolutely loved the film. When Ronnie asked him to join in as co-producer, Salman immediately agreed.
"Salman is very excited to have involved himself with the film he absolutely fell in love with, he wants to look into everything from marketing, positioning to release date of the film," sources close to the actor said.
The film, described as a kid's fun flick, is now ready to be released on July 8 as Salman will get sufficient time to plan his schedule to promote it after.
