Bantwal: Puttur ASP led Policemen Detect Petroleum Products Mafia in Taluk

Bantwal, Jun 5: The police personnel led by Puttur assitant superintendent of police Rohini on Saturday June 4 raided the premises of racketeers engaged in petrol and diesel in two locations that come under the jurisdiction of Vittal and Bantwal rural police station.  

In one of such incident, the policemen raided A H Hardware & Electricals, a shop owned by Hasainar at Kudtamugeru in Vittal Padnoor  The shopkeeper managed to escape during the raid, while the police arrested the shop assistant Ansar (23), a resident of Partippady.

The policemen arrested Vedavyas (45) in a complex located at Karinja Cross, Vogga that comes under Kavalamudoor village, who was accused of illegally stocking petroleum products.  The policemen seized 75 litres of diesel at his premises.

The cases have been registered at Vittal and Bantwal rural police stations in this regard.
