Road Accident on Murudeshwar NH Claims Lives of Mother and Son

Karwar, Jun 6: A road accident on the national highway claimed two lives on the spot at Murudeshwar here on Sunday June 5.

The deceased have been identified as Marli Soma Devadiga (55) and her son Hiriya Devadiga (30), residents of Bijur, Baindoor in Udupi district. The mother and son were on their way to a marriage in Bailoor of Bhatkal.

The accident occurred when the duo's motorcycle collided with a van near Murudeshwar. The Murudeshwar police are investigating the case.
