Udupi: Two-wheelers Collide – Youth Dies

Udupi, Jun 9: In an accident that occurred at Sastan in the taluk on the night of Tuesday June 7, a two-wheeler rider died on the spot. He has been identified as Chandra Poojary (30), a resident of Moodahadu village in the taluk.

The accident occurred, when a motor bike moving towards Saligrama from Sastan hit a Kinetic Honda vehicle approaching Sastan from the opposite direction. Chandra Poojary was riding the Kinetic Honda. He was working in a hotel, it is learnt.

Rajesh, a relative of the deceased said in a complaint filed in Kota police station, that the unidentified motor bike rider sped away after the accident.
