Mangalore: Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit by Scooter

Mangalore, Jun 10: A person named Amarnath Shetty (60) residing at Susheela Compound in Maroly in the city was killed instantly on Wednesday June 8 night, after a scooter hit him. Shetty, a businessman, was crossing the road near Kadri Fire Station for collecting amount due to him, when he was hit by a two-wheeler. Shetty had parked his own two-wheeler by the roadside before crossing the road.

Wilson (61) from Kulur, who was riding the two-wheeler in question, also suffered extensive injuries in the accident. He is being treated in a hospital here.
