Bangalore: BJP Promises Action Against BSY, if Proved Guilty

Bangalore, Jun 10 (DHNS): Senior BJP senior leader Ravi Shankar Prasad has said if Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa was found guilty in the Lokayukta report, the BJP high command would initiate disciplinary action against him. Prasad was speaking to reporters in the City on Thursday.

He, however, said the allegations against Yeddyurappa were yet to be proven, when asked about the Central BJP’s silence over the alleged corruption in Karnataka, as opposed to its clamour against the UPA government. Prasad said the State party unit had to pull up its socks and work harder to boost the party’s image.

He said though the State unit had been doing its bit, it had attracted a lot of criticism from opposition parties over issues pertaining to corruption and illegal mining.

Noteworthy progress

The BJP leader, however, said the Yeddyurappa-led government had made noteworthy progress in fields like e-governance, which had also won the Centre’s appreciation.

Trying to downplay senior BJP leader L K Advani’s recent remarks on the BJP leadership in Karnataka, Prasad said the government had paid heed to Advani’s remarks by taking adequate measures.

The BJP will begin a nationwide campaign against the UPA government for unceremoniously evicting yoga guru Baba Ramdev during his fast at the Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi, from June 23 to 26.

    DOUBLE STANDARD OF BJP-
For others just a hint of corruption- he needs to resign & prove he isn't involved, but Yeddy need only resign only after found guilty.
If they really need any more proof when all his scams are substantiated with credible proof-courts decided to take the cases-which his Son-in-law sabotages with getting repeated stays from Courts on silly technical grounds.
If he was innocent-then why he need to stay the proceedings, to prove he is not guilty- he need to let atleast the proceedings go smoothly & the quicker he proves he is not guilty the better for himself & the party than playing these delaying tactics to continue his illegal stay at the highest office of the State.
Shame on u politicians showing your TRUE COLOUR.
