Mangalore: Nursing Students Learn Disaster Management Skills Through Mock Drill

Zulekha Nursing College, a unit of Yenepoya specialty hospital organized a disaster management mock drill at the college hall on Friday June 10.

As many as 200 students of the nursing college took part. During the mock operation the ground situation that would prevail at an air crash site was elaborated by the students, followed by a ‘rescue operation’.
 
Zulekha Nursing College principal Prof Jacinta Veigas, Yenepoya medical department director Dr Mohammed Thahir among other staff members were present. Programme coordinators were Anisusan Mathew and Julia Peter.
