Mangalore, Jun 11: After a brief respite during daytime on Friday June 10, the twin districts received heavy rainfall during the night and on the morning of Saturday June 11.

On Friday, the sun shone brightly most of the time. By evening however, clouds gathered, and the twin-districts got good rain at night.
