Mangalore, Jun 12: The farewell programme and thanksgiving ceremony to Fr Arun Wilson Lobo, the assistant parish priest was held at Holy Cross Church, Cordel, Kulshekar on Sunday June 12 at 7.15 am.

The parish priest Fr Valerian Pinto, assistant parish priest Fr John B Moras, Fr Melwin Norohna, parish council vice-president Praveen Patrao, secretary George D’Souza were on the dais. The programme commenced with the welcome note from Praveen Patrao on behalf of the parish council and
parishioners.

Fr Valerian Pinto thanked Fr Arun for his remarkable service at Cordel and wished him well for
his mission at St Antony Church, Naravi in the future. With the heartfelt gratitude and as a token of love, memento was presented to Fr Arun Lobo.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Arun thanked one and all who had supported in carrying out his endeavour successfully at Cordel Church with the grace of almighty from the past three years.

Sushil Noronhna compered the programme, which was followed by the thanks giving Holy Eucharist mass.
