Bangalore: Candle Light Vigil against Dey's Killing Held


Bangalore, Jun 14 (PTI) A candle light vigil was held here on Tuesday June 13 to protest the killing of senior investigative journalist Jyotirmoy Dey in Mumbai.

Journalists who participated in the protest recalled the contribution of Dey and his fearless style of reporting.

Several of those present also expressed their anger and concern over the incident and urged authorities to nab the culprits immediately.

They also raised issues like freedom of the press and the alleged government apathy over the issue.
