Udupi, Jun 15: The annual feast of St Antony Orthodox Syrian Church was celebrated at Ammunje -  Kolalgiri, near here on Monday June 13.

Ramban Scaria G M of St Mary’s Syrian Orthodox Church Brahmavar, celebrated the festal Holy Mass along with Fr Johnson, Fr Abraham Kuriakose, Fr David Crasta and Deacon Noel Lewis here on Monday morning.

Fr David in his homily said that the reason varies for each faithful to attend Holy Mass at the church.  However, Prophet Isaiah had just one reason to see God in his prayers, hence the need for faithful to seek God in prayers.

Philip Rony and Juliet Rodrigues, Uppinakote were the main sponsors of the feast.

Ramban Scaria G M blessed and inaugurated the newly-built welcome arch and entrance gate of the church on the occasion.

Fr David Crasta thanked the congregation for their support in organizing the annual feast.
