Kundapur: Man Peddling Ganja Held

Kundapur, Jun 16: A person named Raju (62) residing at Nanasaheb Road of Voderhobli in the town, who was allegedly engaged in selling ganja on JLB Road here, was arrested on Wednesday June 15. 340 grams of ganja was confiscated from his possession.

Raju reportedly had kept ganja in a plastic sachet located in his cubicle in which he conducted footwear repair work, on the southern side of JLB Road here. The value of ganja seized from him is estimated at Rs 8,000.

The policemen said that Raju was facing the allegation of selling ganja to students from a number of educational institutions located near his shop. A case stands registered against him.

    Ganja in educational institutions around kundapur were well known earlier .Thanks for police action atleast now Late better than never
