Mangalore, Jun 19: The Railway authorities are yet to clear the chaos of Konkan route after two days of disrupted services. However, Mangalore - Mumbai Matsyagandha express service resumed on Saturday June 18. CST Mumbai – Mangalore Junction Express journey stands cancelleed until Monday June 20.

Due to heavy rains in the Konkan region, protected wall with safety net caved in at Pomendi between Nivsar and Ratnagiri stations disrupting services on the route since Friday June 17.

Resuming of Matsyagandha express has been a relief for the passengers in the twin districts. Konkan Railway authorities informed that the train will be run up to Ratnagiri station, from where passengers will be taken by bus till Adavali railway station to resume their journey by Matsyagandha express coming from Mumbai. The same arrangements are done for the passengers coming to Mangalore.
