Mangalore, Jun 21: The government of Karnataka has appointed Dr Devadas Pai Bachody as the registrar of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy.
Dr Pai has been discharging duties in the department of education efficiently since the last three decades. He holds PhD degree in the field of imparting education in science. Apart from presenting his essays at various forums including national and state levels and Lions International workshops, he has participated as expert speaker in hundreds of programmes.
Dr Pai has been contributing to the growth of Konkani and teaching this language. He had submitted a syllabus frame for teachers training through D Ed and B Ed courses with clear emphasis to improve imparting education towards growth of Konkani language.
