Mangalore, Jun 22: Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy invites entries for Konkani Fellowship: 2011 – 12 to qualify five individuals in order to undertake research in anyone of the five topics - Konkani movies, Konkani folk art, origins of Konkani, its range and the present situation, harmony of Konkani with other literatures and culture and the contributions of Konkani speaking community to Kannada. The fellowship carries Rs 1 lac each, stated the press release issued by the academy..
Those interested are advised to prepare a brief report on the topic chosen by them, their specialised field of interest, profile along with photograph and send the same latest by July 10 to the academy. The specimen copies of the application forms are available with the academy.
