Mangalore: Sunni Muslim Jamath Union for Twin Districts Formed

Sunni Muslim Jamath Union, DK and Udupi districts consisting 39 members from social and religious background including Al-Haji Koora Tangal, Mangalore Qazi Twaka Ahmed Musliyar, Udupi Qazi Al-Haji Bekal Ibrahim Ustad, Atrady Qazi Abubakkar Musliyar has come into existence.

Karnataka minority commission president Anwar Manipady has been elected the president of the union. The union aims to avoid skirmishes between the two groups of Sunni Muslims.
 
Mangalore Qazi Al-Haji Twaka Ahmed Musliyar, Ullal assistant Qazi Koora Fazal Koyamma Tangal, Udupi Qazi Bekal Ibrahim Musliyar, Atrady Qazi Abubakar Musliyar have been elected the directors.
 
As per the decision taken at the meeting, no group is to be involved in clashes during any convention in the undivided D K district.
 
This is a welcome step for Sunni Muslims, opined Anwar Manipady, president, Sunni Muslim Jamath Union DK and Udupi district.
